DPLUS 180 - Integrating climate change resilience into protected area design and management

Updated: Jan 12

Did you know that national parks and protected areas provide ecosystem services to the BVI in the face of a changing climate?

Forests also provide slope stabilisation - preventing landslides and reducing flood risk. Forests also help to regulate our climate - this means cooling down temperatures and influencing rainfall.
